Chris was appointed manager October 2016 after the shock departure of long serving Billy Irwin, Swaz has a wealth of football experience, after a long professional career he played for Gateshead and Blyth Spartans before joining Dunston and was a lynchpin in the team when we won the FA Vase in 2012, he then moved to Morpeth Town where he guided them to more Wembley success, scoring in the final victory over Hereford FC.

Born 8th July 1995
Joined Dunston FC in July 2018


Ben joined the club ahead of the 18/19 season as Fitness/GK Coach after a yearlong internship at Middlesbrough FC. He studied at Teesside University and holds a BSc and MSc in Sport and Exercise Science. He is also FA Level 2 qualified in both GK and Outfield whilst holding FA Youth Modules 1&2.

Ian Murray


Club Physiotherapist: Ian Murray

Joined Dunston UTS: June 2020

Ian re-joined Dunston UTS FC ahead of the 2020/21 season, following the departure of Nikki Brown. Now in his second spell with the Club, having held the same position from July 2017-August 2019, he played a key role as part of Chris Swailes' back room staff which lifted the Northern League title in the 2018/19 season.

Ian brings with him a wealth of expertise, having previously worked as Club Physio at Darlington FC, Bishop Auckland AFC and Celtic Nation.
