The club are saddened to announce the news of the death of Tom Clark who passed peacefully this morning at home with his family. 

Tom was a loyal supporter, match announcer and reporter at the club. He was the father of team goalkeeper Andy. 

It was a pleasure to have Tom around the ground on match days and he will be sorely missed. 

Our thoughts are with his family.

Funeral details: 

Tom’s funeral will be on Monday 26th April at 12pm at Tynemouth Crematorium 

Outside standing is acceptable and welcomed by the family (social distance measures are in place). The family would like attendees to wear something blue. 

The service indoors is for family due to the 15 person restrictions.

A livestream option will be available for those unable to attend.

We hope to see you all there to give the great man a send off he deserves. 

We are unable to book a wake afterwards due to number restrictions, hence the charity evening that will be arranged in the Summer once restrictions are lifted.
