Dunston UTS Football Club have once again shown their commitment to building to the future with the signing of young goalkeeper Matty Cassap.

Cassap, who has been described by assistant manager Jon McDonald as having "great potential", has been training with the club for a number of weeks and was included in Chris Swailes' match day squad at Saturday's trip to Bridlington Town.

The tall shot-stopper is an extremely exciting future prospect who in the short term will provide much needed cover for Dan Staples in a busy end-of season run in, following James Anderson's loan recall by Northern Premier League side Morpeth Town.
