Chrisp becomes Manager Jon McDonald's fifth summer signing following David Robinson, Chris McDonald, Jack Maskell and Luke Carr through the door at UTS Stadium for the upcoming season.

Upon joining the club, Chrisp said: "When Jon first got in touch I was thankful to be given the opportunity to join a great club,  the club is steeped in history and a great place to come. I played against Dunston last season when I was with Shields and they were a tough team to play against with a lot of talent in the squad so the decision to join was an easy one."

When asked what the fans can expect, he said: "I’m a passionate, hard working player who wants to win games, I never give up and give 100% in every game. I am a versatile player and can play anywhere I’m needed."

Looking towards the future the young midfielder said: "I am still only 19-years-old, so I want to learn from experienced players and with help from them and the management team, I’ll keep improving and strive for promotion with the club."
