The Most Amazing News for Bea
Dunston UTS FC have some incredible news to share on Beatrix's heart journey.
One of our very own committee members, Steve Whittaker, has had a young family member awaiting a new heart.
Since May 2022, when Beatrix was just 15 months old, she has been in the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle awaiting a heart transplant. Bea has showed so much strength, resilience and courage and we have the most wonderful news to share.
As of this week, Beatrix has now successfully undergone heart surgery and will now begin her recovery.
Everyone at Dunston UTS is overjoyed for Beatrix, Steve, Cheryl, Terry and everybody who is connected. This is incredible news and we wish Bea nothing but the best in her recovery!
