19-year-old Jack Maskell had a fine season last year in the Ebac Northern League Division Two as he claimed the Northern League Division Two Young Player of the Year award.

The promising attacker played a huge part last season in a Horden side that reached the play-offs in the Northern League's second tier and also had an excellent FA Vase run reaching the Fourth Round.

Jon McDonald is delighted to get the signing of Jack Maskell over the line after being a long-time admirer of his talents.

"Jack is a player that we have been monitoring for the last 18 months. He's an exciting young forward, a great athlete and at only 19 years of age, he's only going to get better.

"Lots of clubs in the region have been after his signature, so naturally we are delighted he has chosen Dunston for the next stage of his journey. As a coaching team, we are looking forward to working with Jack this year." McDonald said.
