Dunston FC defender Dan Capewell marks his 100th appearance in a Dunston FC shirt.

Dan arrived from North Shields Athletic and made his 100th appearance for Dunston FC against Mossley.

Dan played an important role in winning the Northern League title for the club last season and  was nominated for The Northern League Young Player of the Year. Additionally he collected last seasons inaugural Dunston UTS FC Supporters Club Player of the Season Award.

On reaching his milestone Dan commented:

“Obviously it’s a massive honour to get the chance to play 100 games for a club as big as Dunston FC, one of the most well known and respected sides in  North East non league Football and I couldn’t be happier”.

 “I came to Dunston about 4 years ago and I have had some ups and downs but certainly more ups winning the cup and the league. I cannot see myself playing anywhere else, I love playing for the club and hope it can continue for a while longer yet”.
