Club Statement | Chris Swailes

We can confirm that Chris Swailes has stepped down from his post as Dunston UTS FC Manager.

Chris Swailes, who was appointed as first team manager in 2016, will be stepping down due to personal reasons.

We would like to thank Chris for what has been an incredible tenure as the club's manager and for helping to elevate the club to new heights during his reign as manager leading Dunston UTS FC to promotion to the Northern Premier League.

Chris has been an instrumental assett to the club for well over decade where he won the FA Vase with us in 2012 as a player and has also went on to win the Northern League as manager in the 2018/19 season. A season which also saw Chris scoop the award of 'Northern League Manager of the Season' during the campaign.

Dunston UTS FC Club Chairman Malcolm James has said, "Chris has had a massive influence as a player and as a manager of Dunston UTS FC since he first joined us in 2016. I am sure everyone who has been involved with Chris during his two spells at the club will join us all in wishing him the very best wherever the future takes him."

We are eternally grateful for the efforts of Chris over these past few years and we wish him all the best in the future.
