Since his arrival from The Mariners, Jenkins has been pivotal to Dunston’s success going forward and has notched 10 goals from midfield as well as a number of assists. His flair and creativity have made him a real fans favourite, and Will was voted as October’s 'Player of the Month' for his efforts.

After putting pen to paper to extend his stay, Will said: “I am delighted to be staying for the remainder of the season after a successful first half of the season. 

“We have a great group of lads, and I feel very much part of the squad and the club which is always nice. I have loved every minute and we’re all ambitious of promotion this year so it was a no brainer to stay on and try to achieve that!”

Club Chairman Malcolm James also expressed his gratitude at the work involved from all parties:

“I would like to say a big thank you to South Shields FC for their cooperation in the extension of Will’s loan, and we wish them every success for the rest of the season.”
