PREVIEW | Hebburn Town (A)

FORM

Dunston come into this game unbeaten in six games, and are buoyed by a resolute display against league champions Worksop Town on Saturday where they gained a valuable point in a 1-1 draw. With other teams around them dropping points, Dunston now sit four points off the playoff places, and have a game in hand on Stocksbridge Park Steels who sit in the final playoff place. They know a win at Hebburn is a must if they are to keep up pace with those above them as games start to run out.

Hebburn, despite sitting 3rd in the table and being 9 points ahead of Dunston, have gained just six points from their last six games and are stumbling towards the playoffs. Defeat at the weekend to Sheffield didn't disrupt their push too much as Long Eaton, Dunston and Stocksbridge also dropped points, and they know a win on Monday would be enough to secure a playoff spot.

LAST TIME OUT

The sides have already this season on boxing day at the UTS Stadium. A troublesome pitch caused issues to both sides, and Hebburn ran out late winners thanks to a single Amar Purewal goal in a 1-0 win for the visitors.
