PREVIEW | Grimsby Borough (A)

Dunston travel down to in-form Grimsby Borough looking to make it 10 games unbeaten in the Northern Premier League East.

FORM

Dunston come into this game having drawn 1-1 to Bridlington Town at the UTS Stadium last Saturday, with Will Jenkins' 3rd minute opener being cancelled out in injury time by Bridlington substitute Joe Norton. Prior to that, Dunston had recorded wins against Stockton Town and Brighouse, as well as having picked up a vital point away at North Shields.

Grimsby Borough had a tough start to life in their new division - the first time this club has been at Step 4. Having lost their first six games, they have turned things around drastically in recent weeks and are four unbeaten, with this run including 3 away wins at Grantham Town, Long Eaton United and Lincoln United.

With both sides in good form, this has all the making of a cracking contest, with Grimsby looking for the points to move them further away from the relegation zone, and Dunston looking to keep the pressure up on the teams towards the top of the table as we head into a crucial period of the season.

MANAGER'S THOUGHTS

Ahead of the game, Assistant Manager Jon McDonald said: "The lads are in great spirits, and it's a game we are really looking forward too. We are in good form and we are going into this game determined to keep our positive momentum going."
