Dunston FC travel to the Ribble Valley on Saturday to face Clitheroe FC in The BetVictor Northern Premier North West Division. The two sides last met each other back in January, sharing the spoils in a rather uneventful goalless draw at The UTS Stadium. 

Since then Clitheroe have only managed to pick up 1 point and are winless in their last 9 games, form which has resulted in them falling from 7th to 11th in the table, one place and 4 points ahead of Dunston, although Dunston do have 2 games in hand.

Clitheroe were on the wrong end of a 1-4 score-line last weekend at the hands of League leaders Workington Town, whilst 10 men Dunston secured a point at home to Colne FC.

"The Blues" have added fire power recently, Tyrhys Dolan arriving on a work experience loan from Preston North End, netting a consolation goal last weekend. Kieran Feeney has joined midweek from Lancaster City in an attempt to gain more game time. The 19 year old forward has been with Wolves, Barnsley and Atherton and will be available for the game against Dunston.
