Turnbull extends Dunston stay with new one-year deal
Phil Turnbull has signed a one-year extension to his contract with Dunston UTS, becoming the latest player to commit to the club for the 2024/25 season.
The 37-year-old joined the club in 2021 and has now agreed to a further 12 months at the UTS Stadium.
This season will mark Turnbull’s fourth in Dunston colours, a season which could see the veteran make his landmark 150th appearance for the club.
Having made his senior debut whilst on loan at Gateshead all the way back in December 2005, Turnbull will now continue his career into a 19th season in senior football.
The experienced midfielder’s debut for Dunston came in a 0-0 draw with Brighouse Town back in August 2021, getting off the mark with his first goal against Worksop Town in January 2022.
Everyone at Dunston UTS would like to congratulate Phil on signing his new deal.
