Liam Brooks departs for Alnwick Town.

Having joined Dunston from Whitley Bay at the start of the 2018/19 season, Brooksy would go on to score 18 goals for the club during his two season spell at The UTS Stadium. He was a key player during our 2018/19 Northern League winning season and will probably be best remembered for a 80 yard strike which hit the cross bar, and was turned in by strike partner Mark Fitzpatrick, in the game against Guisborough Town with Dunston going on the lift the Northern League title for the 3rd time in their history.

He made the step up to playing at a higher level in The Northern Premier League and will be returning to his local club were he'd originally rose to prominence as a goal scorer.
