The squad will return to pre-season training at the end of June, and will play their first friendly on Tuesday, 9th July against Newcastle Blue Star, at Scotswood (kick-off 19:30)

This is the first meeting between the two sides since pre-season in 2022, when a Dunston side led by Chris Swailes won 3-0 at the UTS Stadium.

Jon McDonald's side will then face an away trip to Seaham Red Star on Saturday, 20th July (kick-off 3pm), playing at Seaham Town Park, before another away tie at North Shields on Tuesday, 23rd July (kick-off tbc).

The club will announce the full pre-season friendly schedule at a later date, once all games are confirmed.
