Northern Premier League East Division line-up revealed for 2025/26 season
The FA have revealed the league allocation for the 2025/26 Northern Premier League East Division season, seeing seven teams joining and departing the league from last season.
Blyth Spartans & Matlock Town join the division following their relegation from the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
Northern League Division One champions Redcar Athletic are amongst next season's opponents, as well as Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division champions Silsden and United Counties League Premier Division North champions Lincoln United.
The play-off winners of the first two leagues mentioned, Blyth Town & Hallam, will also join the twenty-two team league.
Despite their bottom four finish, Brighouse Town will remain in the league after recieving a reprieve.
Belper Town & Carlton Town both make the sideways move to the Northern Premier League Midlands Division.
Cleethorpes Town & Stocksbridge Park Steels both depart the league after their promotions to step 3, with Sheffield, Sherwood Colliery & Liversedge relegated to step 5.
All allocations are subject to ratification and appeals.
