NEW SIGNING | Welcome, Dan Lowson!

We are delighted to announce the signing of veteran goalkeeper, Dan Lowson.

Lowson, 36, becomes Jon McDonald's sixth summer signing following the arrivals of Harvey Neary, Scott Robson, Dan Turner, Scott Lowery and Josh Gilchrist.

The experienced shotstopper has most recently spent the last six seasons as the number one at Morpeth Town. He completed a permanent transfer to the Highwaymen in 2018 following a spell at National League North side, Spennymoor Town. Lowson has also had stints at both Blyth Spartans and Alfreton Town.

Dunston UTS Manager, Jon McDonald, has spoken on the arrival of Dan Lowson to The UTS Stadium:

"Dan is a top goalkeeper. He has been outstanding for Morpeth, and Spennymoor before that, and he is vastly experienced having played many games in the National League North. He is also a leader and demands high standards from his teammates.

"We are delighted that he has signed. Alongside Aaron Steavens, we have really strong goalkeeping options for the season ahead."

Welcome to Dunston UTS, Dan Lowson!
