New signing Dean Briggs speaks after joining Dunston UTS
After joining the club on a 28-day loan from Blyth Spartans on Friday, we spoke to Dean Briggs.
"I'm over the moon to join the club. I'm aiming to help out the squad with a lot of games over the festive period and contribute whenever possible".
Dean is the son of former Dunston player and manager Perry Briggs, who took the manager role ahead of the 2006/07 season when Bobby Scaife stepped down.
"I used to watch Dunston every week when my Dad was a player at the club and when he was manager. It's a club that's always had a great side and great people behind the scenes".

Dean Briggs came on for the last twenty minutes of Saturday's 3-1 win against Bishop Auckland, replacing Sado Djalo and operating in the front four.
"I'd describe myself as a creative type of midfielder who can hopefully chip in with some goals and assists".
