Media Team Departure | Thank You, Dom!
Dunston UTS FC can confirm that Dom Bingham is leaving the club's Media Team due to future work commitments.
Dom has been an invaluable member of the club over these last few years and has been key in helping to drive the club's media output to the next level in recent seasons.
Alongside producing excellent content for the club, Dom has been studying Sports Journalism at Sunderland University and is due to officially in September - We wish him all the very best with that.
"Firstly, I would like to thank Dan Whalen and Tony Cleugh for bringing me into the club and giving me the opportunity to develop my professional skills." Dom said.
"I've had a brilliant few years here, and I would also like to thank all the fans, players, management and officials for the way they welcomed me, and for how happy they have been to help with anything that's been asked of them.
"It's a brilliant club, filled with even better people." Dom added.
"I believe that as a team, we have really driven on the club's media output, and although I am obviously disappointed to be leaving, I am really happy with the position we have got to and I know the rest of the lads will continue to push the content on.
"I look forward to hopefully getting to some games as a fan next season!"
Dom's work has certainly not been unrecognised within the club and Tony Cleugh has paid tribute to his time at the club.
"I'd like to thank Dom for all the work he's put into the club over the last few years. He has helped take the media team to a completely different level. The content that is provided now is one of the best in non-league football.
"Best wishes to Dom for the future and thank you again."
From everyone connected with Dunston UTS Football Club, a massive thank you to Dom and we wish you the very best of luck for the future!
