Dunston UTS FC and Whickham Fellside Youth FC Partnership.

Club News as we announce an exciting partnership between both Clubs.
As part of our concerted drive to place the club at the heart of our local community, Dunston UTS FC and Whickham Fellside Youth Football Club are excited to announce a partnership between the two clubs.
In the long term, the partnership will offer a pathway for local talented youngsters to progress into the higher levels of senior football which Dunston UTS FC compete at.
Through use of our recently refurbished clubhouse, We will be able to provide WFYFC the ability to host end of season presentations, club meetings, coach development workshops, fund raising and mascot opportunities over the course of the season.
We will also endeavour to raise the profile and help to promote Whickham Fellside Youth Football Club, through our own Social media platforms.
We will also provide Under 16’s season tickets to youngsters at the club as we wish to encourage as many young children and families to attend our games this season.
Club Co-Chairman Tony Cleugh:
“We are delighted to be forming a partnership with Whickham Fellside Youth Football Club and look forward to working with them in the future.
“The club would like to thank Dan Whalen, Steve Whittaker, Barry Wake and those at Whickham Fellside YFC for making this happen.
“We are always looking at the longer term at Dunston UTS FC and this is another brick in the wall to help secure the future of the club. Hopefully there will be players from WFYFC who will make the step up to senior football and represent Dunston UTS in the future.
“We will be giving the club season tickets for the youngsters out of the funds that were raised through the GoFundMe pages and hope to see lots of the Juniors on match days.”
Club Co-Chairman Billy Irwin:
“All at Dunston UTS are looking forward to working with Whickham Fellside YFC. It is a great opportunity for both clubs to improve. I am sure our facilities and clubhouse will be offered for use alongside interacting with the many teams Fellside have.”
Whickham Fellside Youth FC Club Secretary Barry Wake stated:
“WFYFC are delighted to be able to tie up this link with one of the areas most well known and biggest non league clubs in Dunston UTS FC.
“With over 400 players and over 30 teams from U7 to Seniors we are one of the largest Youth Football clubs in the area and this partnership recognises our size and stature within the local area and this coupled with our plans to grow the club and provide a pathway to senior football for our junior players gives us an ideal long term option. We are excited and look forward to this partnership.”
