Dunston drawn in away clashes for opening matches of the Emirates FA Cup & Isuzu FA Trophy
Dunston face a short trip to either Whickham or Carlisle City in the Preliminary Round of the Emirates FA Cup, and a visit to Emley in the first qualifying round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.
Dunston will face Northern League competition in the preliminary round of the Emirates FA Cup, in the form of either local rivals Whickham, or Carlisle City.
This will be decided when the two teams play each other in the extra preliminary round of the prestigious tournament, currently scheduled to take place on Saturday 3rd August at Whickham’s Glebe.
The preliminary round tie is scheduled to take place on Saturday 17th August.
Jon McDonald’s side also face a trip to league newcomers Emley, who were promoted to Step 4 after a successful league winning campaign at Step 5 last season. This tie is scheduled to take place on the 7th September.
