This is another stride towards our goals for the overall future of our club after introducing our Junior set up earlier in the year.

The team will be ran by Reece O’Donnell and David Mitchell. We have been impressed by their professionalism and knowledge of the ladies football scene and plans for the future. They already have a strong squad lined up for the new season and are confident of success.

From a clubs point of view we are delighted to have the ladies on board and know the community will give it their normal great support.

The ladies, juniors and men’s team will all be sporting the same colours for the new season and will all interlink in our quest for success across all fronts.

It’s another step on our mission to create a sustainable, inclusive and safe football club that the North East community want to be part of.

As mentioned, Reece O’Donnell and David Mitchell will be taking charge of the ladies team and have shared a few words on this exciting step for the club:

“We’re excited about the future of the club. Dunston has a proud history of success, and that’s something we’re committed to building on. After speaking with Tony and Billy, it was clear that this was a journey we wanted to be part of.

We have a fantastic group of women already involved, but we’re always looking for more to join us and help drive the team forward. Our goal is to take the club to new heights, and it’s brilliant to see the club united as one.”
