A familiar face returns to The UTS Stadium.
Dunston UTS FC announce Club Physiotherapist ahead of the coming season.
Dunston UTS FC are delighted to announce Ian Murray as Club Physiotherapist ahead of the 2020/21 season. Ian will fill the position vacated by Nikki Brown who stepped down from the role at the end of last season. Ian brings with him a wealth of experience having previously worked for Darlington FC, Bishop Auckland and Celtic Nation.
Serving as Dunston UTS FC First Team Sports Physiotherapist from July 2017 - August 2019, Ian was part of Chris Swales back room staff during the Clubs Northern League winning season of 2018-19 and will be well known to everybody at the club.
Speaking to Ian on his appointment he said "Having been looking forward to the beginning of last season, unfortunately due to new work commitments I had to relinquish my position here at Dunston but still followed from afar".
He continued "Seeing that the position became available again for this season, I jumped at the chance to come back and quickly let Mal and Swaz know of my interest".
"I'm really happy that I have been appointed as club Physiotherapist again as it is a fantastic club and has a great future going forward and I'm looking forward to getting back into it and helping the team going forward".
All at Dunston UTS FC would like to welcome Ian back to the Club as we continue with our preparations ahead of the coming season
