Dunston begin their Isuzu FA Trophy campaign tomorrow afternoon, welcoming Brighouse Town to the UTS Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Last Meeting

The Blues suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at the Heffernan Utilities Stadium last time they met the Town, as Rhys Plater’s 17th minute strike was the only goal of the game. Jon McDonald’s side pushed hard for an equaliser on a chilly night in West Yorkshire, but the relegation-fighting home side took all three points.

League Standings

Dunston UTS – 7th in Northern Premier League East Division

Brighouse Town – 20th in Northern Premier League East Division

Grant Black’s men have suffered three 3-0 defeats in their past four matches, with a 0-0 draw with league newcomers Silsden being the only exception. They haven’t scored a goal in their past five matches, having lost five of their last six matches in all competitions.
