Dunston begin their Emirates FA Cup campaign tomorrow afternoon, making the short trip to Northern League side Thornaby.

Recent Form

The Blues have started the 2025/26 season superbly, with a 1-0 win against North Ferriby, before Tuesday night’s 2-0 win at Blyth Town. Sitting second in the league, it’s been the perfect start to the campaign.

The hosts have won two of their opening four Northern League Division One fixtures this season, as well as beating Tadcaster Albion 3-2 in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup. Most recently, Thornaby were beaten 6-0 away at Penrith on Tuesday evening. They currently sit 10th in the league.

Player Information

Dan Lowson & Michael Pearson both missed out on Tuesday’s visit to Blyth Town.

Richard Coulson remains on the sideline with a long-term knee injury, whilst JJ Chrisp has missed the last three matches with an injury picked up against Darlington in pre-season.

Manager Jon McDonald is set to take charge of his 100th competitive game as Dunston manager on Saturday afternoon.
