PREVIEW | Grantham Town (A)

Dunston will look to continue their superb form this Saturday away at Grantham Town. Dunston have picked up maximum points from their last six games, and will be looking to make it seven and climb back into the top five once again. The recent form sees Dunston top of the league's form guide with Grantham in 18th.

Last Saturday, it was a professional performance away at Consett as Dunston kept another clean sheet and ran out as 2-0 winners, with David Robinson netting twice in the second half.

Prior to that, Dunston have enjoyed wins against Newton Aycliffe, Bridlington Town, Ossett United, Winterton Rangers and Grimsby Borough. Three points away at The Gingerbreads on Saturday could see Dunston move back into the play-offs with as many as four and five games in hand over some of the sides above.

Grantham Town will provide a tricky test for Dunston if last season's games are anything to go by. However, they currently find themselves in 19th position, and in the relegation zone along with Winterton Rangers. Saturday's host will be hoping for a positive result to see them jump out of the bottom two.

The Gingerbreads have picked up 18 points from their 23 league games so far. They have also had some changes in the dug out as Paul Rawden stepped away from his duties as First Team Manager to take up the role of Club Chairman. Louis Bland was appointed as the new Manager last month.

Both games between the sides ended in draws last season. Dunston travelled to the South Kesteven Sports Stadium on a Tuesday night in December 2022. After an even affair, the game remained deadlocked with neither side able to put the ball in the net.

Grantham travelled to The UTS Stadium on a Tuesday night towards the back-end of last season. With Dunston leading at half-time through a 36th minute goal from Sado Djalo, the visitors levelled the game after an hour courtesy of Jake Wright with the game finishing 1-1.

The game takes place at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium this Saturday afternoon with a 3:00pm kick-off.

Trent Road, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 7XQ.

Adults (£10), Concessions (£5), U16 (£3)

The coach will leave The UTS Stadium at 9:30am.
