Dunston’s attention turns to Cup action this weekend as they travel to Knaresborough Town in the preliminary round of the FA Cup.
Dunston have made a strong start to the season scoring seven goals in their opening two league games, winning 3-1 at home to Bridlington and 4-2 away to Ossett.
UTS forward Dale Pearson has been on fire so far this season netting four goals in two games including a hat-trick against Ossett.
THE OPPOSITION
Knaresborough currently compete in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, which is one league below Dunston.
The home side finished 10th last season but have started this campaign with four wins, scoring 11 goals in the process.
Due to their strong start to the season Knaresborough currently sit top of their division.
Danny Edwards has been in fine form for Knaresborough to start the season scoring 8 of his sides 14 goals in all competitions this season.

This is the first time in Dunston’s history that they will be taking on Knaresborough.

The match will take place Manse Lane, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, HG5 8LF (kick-off at 3pm).

Tickets for the game are priced at £6 for adults, £4 for Concessions and Under 16s free.
Following the game, the clubhouse at the UTS Stadium will be showing Manchester City v Newcastle live (kick-off 8pm).
