Position: Forward

Previous clubs: Huddersfield Town, Dundee FC, Berwick Rangers, Forfar Athletic.

A skilful and intelligent player who possesses a keen eye for goal, the youngster joined Dunston FC in August 2019 following a string of impressive performances during pre-season. He has shown his qualities this season and is a handful for defender at this level.

The Hexham born forward started his footballing career with Huddersfield Town as a junior; following his release he moved to Dundee FC in January 2018 and would eventually make his first team debut for the Dark Blues in April 2018.

Appearing 3 times in The Scottish Premier League during the 2017/18 season, loan spells followed at Berwick Rangers and Forfar Athletic.

He made 8 appearances and scored 3 goals for “The Wee Gers” in  Scottish League Two, whilst at Scottish League One side Forfar Athletic he gained further experience with 4 appearances.

Cedwyn was released by Dundee FC at the end of the 2018/19 season following The Dee’s relegation from The Scottish Premier League.

Pre-season saw him return to the North East, where he appeared on trial for Darlington FC. Dunston FC manager Chris Swailes originally brought him to the club on trial during the Summer, as the club prepared for their first season in The BetVictor NPL N/West Division.

With a string of impressive performances during Dunston’s pre-season, the youngster would eventually agree terms with the Club.

Scoring in his League debut against Marine AFC, his footballing education in the professional game has served him well, as he continues to develop under the tutelage of a vastly experienced Dunston management.
