Chris Swailes adds to his squad.

Dunston FC are delighted to announce the signing of 24 year old attacker Mechack Kanda. The player arrives at The UTS Stadium having joined from Northern League side Newcastle Benfield.

Capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or forward, Kanda came through the ranks at Gateshead FC and has had previous experience with South Shields, Hebburn Town and Seaham Red Star.

Speaking to Dunston FC Manager Chris Swailes on the signing, he said "Mechack's a strong, athletic, combative player and he's good on the ball" adding  "He's a player I know well, I coached him at Gateshead College, he was in the same side as Scrappy (Liam Thear) and I'm delighted to get him in".

Kanda will add depth and options to Dunston's attacking line and could be in-line to make his first start for the club on Friday evening against Northern Premier League side Morpeth Town.
