We would like to inform our Supporters and Sponsors that since 14th March, when the league was brought to a halt, there has been a lot happening within Dunston UTS Football Club and the UTS Stadium. 

PREPARATION FOR NEXT SEASON:

Grant application had been made for ground improvements and upgrade to enable us to achieve the necessary ground grading. Following our successful application were able to plan for the following major works: 

• Upgrade of floodlight system.

• Extension to officials changing rooms.

• Provision of medical premises.

• Provision of new outside toilets. 

• Upgrade of standing area in Tommy Cooney stand.

• Provision of new turnstiles. 

  The commencement of this work has been curtailed by the necessity of planning Permission and the restricted work practices due to the current virus situation.

 ONGOING WORK AT THE GROUND:

The playing area has been totally renovated with the help of a grant from the Pitch Preparation Fund and the general upkeep of the ground has been necessary to ensure that when we start again we are ready. 

PLANS FOR THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE 2020/21:

As it currently stands, we are awaiting upon instruction and direction from the appropriate governing bodies. We appreciate the complexity of the current situation and we hope you understand that certain aspects are outside of our control. With that said, we are working tirelessly behind the scenes at the club, to ensure that come the start of the 2020/21 season, Dunston UTS FC are as prepared and ready as is humanely possible.

Once we receive information and direction from the appropriate authorities, and we have taken the necessary time to digest and implement their instructions, we will then communicate the information via our website and social media channels
