Goalkeeper Karl Dryden leaves Dunston UTS FC after an impressive 2 year spell with the club .
Signed by Chris Swailes at the start of the 2018/19 season, following an impressive 4 year spell with Morpeth Town where he was part of the FA Vase winning side of 2017, Karl would go on to lift the Northern League title in his first season with Dunston UTS FC, playing an instrumental part in the clubs success that year with a string of outstanding displays in goal.
With Dunston UTS FC securing promotion to The Northern Premier League, Karl would start the campaign as Dunston’s number one choice in goal. Although the standard of the League was evidently higher, he still managed to prove his worth to the team.
A very popular figure at Dunston, with his superb attitude, undoubted goalkeeping ability and commanding presence, he will no doubt have a string of clubs chasing his signature ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Everyone at Dunston UTS FC would like to thank Karl for his outstanding efforts and dedication over the last 2 season and we wish him all the very best in the future.
