Dunston UTS FC are delighted to welcome Ian Irving to the club.

The 44 year old Cramlington based coach will be a superb addition to Chris Swailes' back room staff.

Swaz commented "Ian's a proper football man, he comes with a wealth of experience in the game both as a player and a coach and I'm delighted to get him on board".

As a player his previous clubs include: Ashington, Blyth Spartans, North Shields and Whitley Bay.

He'd previously worked as assistant manager at Blyth Town, winning The Northern Alliance and achieving promotion into the Northern League. He'd previously worked alongside Dunston UTS FC's current Assistant Manger Jon McDonald at Blyth Town where the club won The Northern League 2nd Division, gaining the club into Northern League 1st Division.

On his appointment Ian commented

"I've been out of the game for a couple of years now,  but I'm really looking forward to the challenge ahead at Dunston and working with Chris, Jon and a group of talented players".
