Former Dunston UTS FC player Graeme Armstrong announces his retirement from the game.

Everyone at Dunston UTS F.C. would like to pass on their best wishes to ex player Graeme Armstrong.

Everyone at Dunston UTS F.C. would like to pass on their best wishes to ex player Graeme Armstrong as he has decided to call time on a marvellous playing career in the North East. Graeme has stepped down after winning the 2020/21 F.A. Vase with Hebburn Town.

Graeme joined Dunston UTS in the 2004/2005 pre season and his first game was a friendly against Seaton Delaval. He was under contract at Annan Athletic but wanted to play closer to home so Annan had agreed to release him and he was in fact on trial in the game against Seaton Delaval. When club treasurer Frank Rankin was asked what he thought he said sign him. When he was told that Annan wanted a fee for Graeme so money would be involved Frank replied, Don’t worry I will find it.

Graeme played three full seasons scoring a total of 110 goals in all competitions before furthering his career by moving to Gateshead. Since moving to Gateshead for the start of 2007/2008 season Graeme has played for many clubs with great success. As well as being a top goalscorer wherever he has played he is a top class person who brings back many great memories of his time spent at Dunston UTS F.C.

Enjoy your retirement.
