Dunston UTS are delighted to welcome Mark Scott to the club. Mark will be joining Chris Swailes’ backroom staff as a coach, following the departure of Ian Irving.
Dunston UTS are delighted to welcome Mark Scott (pictured) to the club. Mark will be joining Chris Swailes’ backroom staff as a coach, following the departure of Ian Irving.
Everyone at Dunston UTS would also like to thank Ian for all of his hard work over the past few seasons and send their best wishes to him for the future.
Mark joins the club with experience in coaching at South Shields FC and North Shields FC where he worked with assistant manager Jon McDonald, More recently, he has spent time at Spennymoor Town FC where he was part of the academy coaching staff. He holds a UEFA A License and will be a superb addition to an already vastly experienced coaching set up.
Upon joining the club, Mark said: “I’m delighted to join the club. As an opposing player and coach over the years I have always admired Dunston as a well-run and successful club.
“I have worked with Jon McDonald before and we work well together. Having met Chris and the rest of the team, I know a few of the players from my time at South Shields so know we have real quality here.
“I cannot wait to meet the rest of the lads and get going!.”
