Breaking Transfer News: Anderson in on loan

Dunston UTS are delighted to announce the capture of goalkeeper James Anderson, on a season long loan deal from Northern Premier League side Morpeth Town.

The young goalkeeper has two first team appearances under his belt at Morpeth, keeping a clean sheet in a Northumberland Senior Cup game against Whitley Bay, and saving a penalty for the Highwaymen in their FA Trophy win over Warrington Town, making a real impression on the coaching staff and fanbase of the Northumberland outfit. 19-year old Anderson moved on loan to Whickham last season, where he made a superb contribution, claiming numerous man of the match performances. This didn't go unnoticed, and the shot stopper has earned a new two year deal with Morpeth Town

His loan move to Dunston will allow James to develop more experience within a tough league, and strengthen's Dunston's credentials moving into the 2022/23 season, particularly with the departure of long term stalwarts Liam Connell and Andrew Clark.
