Coulson, who signed in December 2021 from Northern League side Whitley Bay, has made a big impact since his arrival, and ended the season with six goals to his name, including a brace in a 2-1 away victory at Pontefract Colleries, and a superb curling strike from the edge of the area against Pickering Town at the UTS Stadium. Capable of playing a number of positions across the frontline, the frontman has added versatility and quality to the Dunston team, and will look to kick on further in the 2022/23 season. 

Speaking after he committed his immediate future, Coulson said "I'm delighted to have signed a contract here at Dunston. Ever since I joined everybody at the club has been great to me and I thoroughly enjoyed the end to last season. I'm looking forward to the season ahead and I believe we have a very strong team that can really give it a good go this year and gain promotion. I cannot wait to get going."
