Dunston make the trip down to Yorkshire for the second time inside of a week to face Pickering Town in The Pitching-In Northern Premier North West Division.

Last season’s encounter saw “The Pikes” come out on the right side of a 4-1 score-line, however with 12 new signing during the close season, Chris Swailes side are likely to be facing a very different side to that which they did last season.

Dunston will be looking to get their first back to back victories of the season, having come out on top during a gritty performance away to Ossett Town in midweek, thanks to a Scott Heslop 42 yd wonder goal and poacher’s finish from Mark Fitzpatrick.

A good start to the season currently sees Dunston level at the top of the League Table with 6 points, whilst 14th placed Pickering Town have yet to record a league win in this season. 

A point at home to Workington Town on the opening day of the season, despite leading 2-0 at half –time, has been followed up with a 1-4 loss away to Mossley and a 1-3 defeat away to Ramsbottom Utd in mid-week.
